- The 31-piece Mingus EPITAPH, Mingus’s 2-hour masterwork, posthumously premiered in 1989 and conducted by Gunther Schuller, which was presented again in 2007 at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Walt Disney Center, Chicago Symphony Center, and the Tri-C Jazz Festival.
